The film to be released on July 10, 2015 in United States and June 26, 2015 in United Kingdom with the production of Production Illumination Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures available for 3D and Animax.The film was first teased in the ending credits of Despicable Me 2, where three Minions are seen auditioning for the film.
