Cristine Reyes revealed pregnancy for her boyfriend Filipino Persian Ali Khatibi confirmed and planning to settle down.
On “The Buzz,” interview the Cristine Reyes disclosed they are undergoing “marriage counselling.”
“Para meron po kaming heads up (about married life) kasi hindi lahat kailangang biglang ikakasal agad. Kailangan meron kang knowledge about it,” she said. Cristine doesn’t see motherhood as end of her career.
She noted that whatever happens, she’s already satisfied with her achievements in show business. Cristine said she’s excited to start a family.
“A whole new world is waiting it’s mine for the taking, I know I can make it.. Today my life begins,” read one of her posts on Facebook.
Cristine explained why she initially kept quiet about her pregnancy. She Recall that she walked out of a press interview last September when asked if she’s heavy with child.
Cristine Reyes want to make sure she and her baby were “safe” before saying anything about it.
“Andito na ako sa stage na I’m sure na hundred percent, safe ako and our baby. I made sure na safe muna kami (bago ako umamin),” she said. “Because nu’ng first three months ko po na akala ng lahat ay nagtatago ako, critical po ’yung stage ko. Advice ng doctor kailangan bed rest po kasi nagkaroon ako ng bleeding and kailangan mo alagaan ’yung sarili mo.”
“It was planned and it’s not a surprise actually. First test namin, first day morning ’yun, akala namin negative pa – medyo na-sad kami. So nu’ng gabi, nag-test ulit kami – positive na. And then after that, sinabihan namin family namin. Family first.”
Ara Mina, reaction about Cristine Reyes pregnancy who is expecting a baby of her own, is happy for her younger sister.
On “The Buzz,” Interview for Cristine, Ara said “Proud ako sa kanya kasi hindi naman lahat umaamin and happy ako kasi matagal na niya kasi talaga itong gusto. Parang last year niya pa sinasabi sa akin. I’m excited for her also. Ang saya-saya, maraming babies ngayon sa family. It is a blessing,”
“Nahihilo daw siya, nagsusuka minsan. 'Yung first trimester may mga morning sickness,” she also said.
“Matagal niya na talagang gusto ’to (magka-baby). Parang last year pa niya sinasabi sa akin. I’m excited for her also. Ang saya-saya, maraming babies ngayon sa family. Ang baby, blessing siya,” she said.
Message to Cristine?
“Take care of yourself. Huwag ka magpapaka-stress para hindi ma-stress ang baby. Just call me anytime. Love you,”.
“Alam mo naman na mahal na mahal kita. Nagkaaway na tayo, nagkabati na tayo per nandito pa rin ang ate mo. Kung saan ka masaya, masaya ako. I love you,” she said.
