How to Prolong Your Phone's Battery Life Hacks Proven
If you want your battery to last long, there a proven hacks to help you out.

The battery company Cadex and website Battery University have listed some tips on how to prolong battery life by using correct charging methods. Now, these proper charging methods.

1) Don’t charge it to 100 percent - If you tend to leave your phone plugged in to charge overnight, it’s time to stop doing that. According to Battery University, that charging battery overnight or charging your phone continuously when it’s already at 100 percent stresses the battery, leaving it in a high-tension state that wears down its chemistry.

”Li-ion [battery] does not need to be fully charged," the website shares. "In fact, it is better not to fully charge, because a high voltage stresses the battery. When fully charged, remove the battery from its charging device. This is like relaxing the muscles after strenuous exercise. You too would be pretty miserable if you worked out nonstop for hours and hours.”

2) Don’t charge it when it’s empty - Instead of charging your phone only when it gets empty, the best practice is to charge your phone multiple times throughout the day. “Charging your phone when it loses even just 10 percent of its charge is okay,” says Battery University. “Not only does this keep your smartphone's battery performing optimally for longer, but it also keeps it topped up throughout the day.”

So once you have the chance to plug it in, go ahead and charge that battery. There's no need to wait until it's drained.

3) Keep it cool - “If you notice that your device gets hot when you charge it, take it out of its case first,” Battery University explains. Batteries are so sensitive to heat. So when you’re charging it, it's better to remove that plastic protector.
