The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is an American science fiction war film starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin, Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Jeffrey Wright as Beetee Latier, Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair, Jena Malone as Johanna Mason, Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman, Donald Sutherland as President Coriolanus Snow and Natalie Dormer as Cressida directed by Francis Lawrence with a screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong. It is the second of two cinematic parts based on the novel Mockingjay, the final book in the Hunger Games trilogy, written by Suzanne Collins, and the fourth and final installment in The Hunger Games film series.
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 is scheduled to be released on November 4, 2015 in Berlin premiere, November 5, 2015 in London premiere and November 20, 2015, in the United States the film series widely released in 3D 2D and IMAX, internationally in 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D and RealD Cinema, produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik and distributed by Lionsgate.
